Sam has worked with people from all walks of life, Accredited Exercise Physiologist Sam Rooney draws on over 10 years’ experience in the industry to bring a knowledgeable and well rounded experience to the clients he works with. Sam’s breadth of experience has seen him working in clinical settings, treating someone suffering 17 spinal fractures and a broken pelvis to working with elite athletes now performing at the top of their sport.
Having played a number of sports at representative level, Sam’s interest in health, fitness and wellbeing has been a passion burning throughout his life and has shaped his life today. This passion culminated in him graduating his Masters of Exercise Physiology course with a Dean’s award for academic excellence. Experiencing significant injuries himself, Sam understands first-hand just how important it is to move well and prepare your body for whatever you choose to throw at it, whether it be on the footy field, in the workplace or just playing with the family.
Sam takes a “why not?” approach to his clients and this is what see’s them reach and exceed their goals. His understanding of functional movement, Strength & Conditioning and clinical rehabilitation allows him to truly understand the capabilities of the body in strength, resilience and healing. Injuries don’t need to signal the end of your active lifestyle, but overcoming them will make achieving your goals all the more sweeter.

Dani teaches Vinyasa Flow yoga, having completed her 350hr teacher training at Inyoga Surry Hills. She shares the healing benefits and her love of yoga in nourishing, heartfelt and embodied flows with a spirit of playfulness to help deepen your practice. Dani facilitates an environment where her students are encouraged to honour their body, play with curiosity to feel a deep sense of connection.
